Eulee\u2019s<br \/>work is contemplative yet uninhibited. Her multi-media paintings are deliberate and thoughtful, the<br \/>result of countless sketches and hours of reflection. Buildings, city life, and the human figure are<br \/>constructed, deconstructed, and then reassembled into the loose gestural compositions<br \/>characteristic of her work. Eulee resists the idea that all art requires verbal explanations,<br \/>preferring instead to let the viewer absorb the elements of the piece and respond to it in a<br \/>personal, authentic manner.<br \/>Prior to earning her B.F.A. from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, Yoon Jeong Lee<br \/>(\u201cEulee\u201d) studied arts and crafts in Korea and sociology in the Philippines.
